#DEMOCRACY #REPUBLIC This is not a Obama, Romney, Paul message, it is slightly rude, but worth reading

Yes it's long.
There are lot of words. A lot of important words.
There aren't any pictures of cats and there is no HDR photography.
The words though. My God the words!
They're beautiful.

Thank you +Karyn Roberts

ATTENTION PEOPLE THAT HAVE ADDED ME, FOLLOWING ME AND/OR CIRCLED ME!

As much as I like Fidoday, and Caturday, as much as I like seeing what you've eaten for dinner, as much as I like sunsets, flowers, colors, people, places and things I must ask all of you to UN-CIRCLE me now!

Unlike Facebook, where people preach to the choir, I do not, will not pander to you, them, groups, races, genders, creeds or feelings - please allow me to explain why -

This election (and every election) coming up is going to be the most important election ever - as I said, and every election - but this election is going to be very different - this election is about *LIBERTY.  Yes, Liberty.

Just a couple of years back I was a nuke em, merica, fuck yeah, invade them, fuck the democrats, stop whining you liberal - REPUBLICAN - hard to believe? No.

I have been awakened.  This is NOT an awakening to DEMOCRACY, as we are a CONSTITUTIONAL REPUBLIC - not a feed the hungry, everyone should have health care LIBERAL - my awakening was one ofLAW and how our forefathers risked all just so you can say FUCK YOU, KARYN I like caturday and don't like political posts - rather, my awakening has allowed to say FUCK FOX NEWS, CNN, MSNBC, ABC, CBS and all of the mainstream media and see the NEWS for what it is - a warning.

I continue -

I AM AWAKE!  I tried once before to enlighten others, it failed - everyone's AWAKENING is different - I'll be 49 years old on Monday - my awakening has been very delayed - but it did happen.  I see events in history not from the VICTORS point of view but rather as a point in time - preceded by events, and followed by events - I see how we, CITIZENS OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA have been lied to, deceived and controlled to an extent I only thought possible by plots in movies, or evil doers in history - but behind the scenes there is a STORY we've not been privy to - it's called the TRUTH.

And more -

Again, I cannot and will not at this point even point you to information - but rather WARN you.  Things that you take for granted may not be as they seem - you are an individual - freed by the most wonderful document created by the minds of man - you have an obligation, no, more imminently dangerous than that - your house is on fire - are you just going to sit there and assume a chain of events will save you? Save yourself! Become more informed than those out to enslave you - or rather, allow you to willingly to enslave yourself and smile all the while.

This entire post is not necessarily about RON PAUL - but it is - he is the only person in the history of my history to stand fast on his principles - our principles - our Nation's principles - you know, that document I eluded to? *THE CONSTITUTION OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA*.

IT WAS NOT WRITTEN TO CONTROL YOU - IT WAS WRITTEN TO FREE YOU!

With as much passion as I can muster I implore you to AWAKEN now!  Four more years of either Obama or Romney will seal our fates - the information in your awakening is that important - you must make decisions now - decisions to be on the right side of HISTORY - be a modern Paul Revere and awaken others - ONE IF BY LAND, TWO IF BY SEA, THREE IF FROM WITHIN OUR OWN GOVERNMENT.  Look up the word USURP - it's NOT something you get at 7/11, it's something you get if you're ASLEEP at the wheel and allow others to illegally take control and impose their will upon you all in the name of LAW.

YOU ARE A FREE AMERICAN! YOU HAVE RIGHTS NOT GIVEN TO YOU BY YOUR GOVERNMENT, NOT GIVEN TO YOU BY THE POLICE, BUT BY BEING HUMAN! IF YOU DO NOT FIGHT FOR YOUR RIGHTS, FOR YOUR LIBERTY, FOR THE RIGHT SIDE OF HISTORY, YOU AND EVERYONE YOU KNOW WILL PAY THE PRICE!

I end my post by saying this simply - I'm not on Google+ to preach, let alone just preach to those of like mind - I'm here to exercise my RIGHT ofFREE SPEECH - the next part will weed out those that are not AWAKEI'm sure - but if you don't like what you just read - then FUCK OFF - You need to awaken yourself - there's enough information readily available for you to wake up, to take action, to vote on the RIGHT SIDE OF HISTORY - to help yourself, and all of mankind by knowing your LIBERTIES and helping others know it too!

Please don't bother to be a TROLL and post on MY STREAM if you disagree with what I say, that will be something that will come to you in time once you WAKE THE FUCK UP - just read it, like it, understand it, help others understand it or FUCK OFF!

This is THAT IMPORTANT TO ME!

Should you decided to un-circle me, I understand completely - if you stay it's because you understand the import of the information to me, you, the world and the history of history!

Ron Paul 2012!

Liberty, my friends ...

I assume you mean addition to a fresh cup of hot coffee since that's just a given right? I mean good hot coffee THEN freedom. Wow... when you say it out loud it sounds hinky. But man... coffee is way up there.

I think if you genuinely believe government is the problem, you don't have any business running for a position in the government, much less as the Republican nominee for president. If Ron Paul was so truely radical would he have been on live TV at the Republican debates? No. He is allowed to speak because he represents the furthest extreme of what all Republican conservatives want, to weaken the Federal Government to allow big businesses to take over. To allow states to control civil rights, like they did back during Jim Crow and before Roe v. Wade. When will you Paulbots get that "freedom" and "liberty" are just words used to reel you in, like "Yes We Can"? It's an ad for Ron Paul it isn't his actual ideology.

You may believe that +Brooke Johnson  but it is the ideology which will carry on regardless of what happens to RP.
The people allowing the government to be excessive and overbearing is the problem.
I was referring to Karyn, anyhow.

Politics aside, she's only seeing caturday posts because she has those people circled, not because they need to uncircle her.
Back to politics, if she feels so strongly, the big news is happening at the caucuses and the upcoming convention. Some of us have been fighting this at the ground level for months and going to district, county, and state conventions. And for those who believe we live in a "democracy" I'd like to challenge you to go to a caucus and see how a constitutional republic is run. That will open your eyes.
Carry on. Ron Paul 2012!

Good morning to you.. welcome to reality..
Brooke JohnsonYesterday 11:13 PM
+Jerry Mael Can you cite an example of how the government is overbearing and excessive to you personally?
Jerry MaelYesterday 11:19 PM
Wow, you really have to ask?
I could cite at least 25 (with reputable sources) but I can tell you would keep your head in the sand regardless (see>already on your knees).
Jerry MaelYesterday 11:20 PM
It is not my job to wake you up or educate you.. I have done decades of  research and there is only one sensible conclusion to me.
Robby BallYesterday 11:22 PMEdit
I'll admit the following is a bad analogy but best i can come up with atm. In Star Trek, if you ever noticed, they don't really use money anymore, and Federation just provides, food from machines, and pretty much all your basic needs are just taken care of it seems. So the Federation just takes care of everyone. Then again, if that really worked, then Russia would be a Utopia, and our postal system would not have a competitor called Fed-x.... but I grew up thinking we were the United Stated of america a republic, then came to find out we were a democracy, and Obama now is showing us how to become a socialist society, and not sure there is much that could turn us back from that now... best wishes to us all....

+Jerry Mael Well I only asked for one without sources. Being as you can't cite an example maybe your the one with your head in the sand.
Brooke JohnsonYesterday 11:29 PM
Obama isn't a socialist. Socialism is when the government takes over the functions of the free market. That hasn't occurred, Obama doesn't even support that.

Obviously,  you do not realize that getting frisked b4 you get on a plane is throwing your 4th amendment out the window.  That's one for ya (and since you asked for it TWICE, allow me elaborate).
IF it is really about safety.. then why is it that a person can get on a plane in France (with no TSA or frisking).. fly non-stop to Cleveland (over major USA cities on the way) only then to be frisked by the TSA and go through customs?

I will wait while you pull your impudent foot out of your mouth.. mmmk?

In a truly free market, corporations fail. Not only are they not bailed out, they are expected to crash and burn as part of the process, like a forest fire clearing out the rubbish for the next generation.

Also, we do not live in a democracy. You may think we do, but if you take more than fifteen minutes to research our form of government and our election and law-making processes, you will see that the power is not with "the people." The power is with some of the people, and there really isn't a thing any of us can do about it at the moment.

I read the post again to make sure I wasn't mis-speaking. The OP didn't mention President Obama even once so I don't think there's any real need to defend him personally as he's not personally being attacked any more than the entire corporate-government machine is being attacked for bringing us to if not now, then soon, a constitutional crisis where we as American citizens are going to have to decide if we intend to be a country based on liberty and freedom or not. I personally think we're there now with the use of drones to surveil US Citizens.http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2012/feb/7/coming-to-a-sky-near-you/ The first drones we tested in the desert weren't armed, but I can see no reason to believe DHS wouldn't use armed drones here on US soil if they believe they can get away with it and then we're doing away with trials and killing by robot.

I'm not a paranoiac. I just don't believe we need to get rid of trials & courts like we have habeus corpus.

As a flyer I'm subjected to searches by an agency of the government without provocation on my part. They have zero probably cause and yet it happens every time I board a plane.

These aren't President Obama specific issues. He's the President, he can't write laws (well, executive orders notwithstanding) but our congress is bought and paid for and they're culpable and, IMO, need to all be fired immediately and charged with treason and the lot of them have violated their oath to protect and defend the Constitution going way back.

Feel free to uncircle me so you don't have to hear me say "The Emperor has no clothes." I'm not typically political at all on here but if someone acts like things are just peachy and that there's no reason to be upset I will respond to that so if anybody'd like to not hear me say "It's broken and is either going to collapse by itself or be torn down by someone because it deserves to be," please just uncircle me. It'll avoid stressing you.

My mistake +Dusty Love  thought she was tired of seeing pictures, and didn't want to be trolled, which would infer she shouldn't be following the trollers, but if she meant it like you say, then I stand corrected... Actually I enjoyed her post... only problem with it would be those that understood it nodded, those that didn't won't

+Robby Ball unfortunately there is too much of that going on. Understanding without action, but for meek agreement.

+Mike St Agreed, I think the final solution is buried away in social media, and the way it turns many individual minds, the masses, into one unstoppable force, but atm it is still in its infancy, but as it grows media outlets, and those few that make the rules, will start loosing their grip on things, and then things might slowly change.. Watching Egypt, Libya, Tunisia, Sudan, Yemen, Syria is the beginning of this change... and from what I can tell its gaining momentum...
Jerry MaelYesterday 11:52 PM
Pork is not a good example since if it is refused it goes into the general fund of the Executive branch where we know it will ALL be spent and squandered.
just saying
Mike StYesterday 11:54 PM
+Robby Ball I feel it's more to do with the general populous that would rather be told that everything is ok, everything can be fixed by this person or that person. Too much belief without knowledge and knowledge without action. I hope your right that change, that the people are gaining momentum.
Jerry MaelYesterday 11:55 PM
The big picture says it will be spent either way.
Long term thinking would put more power to the states and less taxation to the feds.

As long as yer car example is not as basically flawed as the Pork one was....np.
The police are doing the same thing; Their kids will be beat or tased for little to no reason.
Many do not think ahead.
Brooke Johnson12:58 AM
The TSA security procedures are not a violation of Constitutional rights because they are not "unwarranted" in that before you board an airplane your informed exactly what kind of search willl be taking place and what items are banned on flights by TSA. Secondly, they are not worse then any private security agency at a major sporting event or concert. If you really believe TSA searches are a violation of your constitutional rights, you can appeal to the Supreme Court. Ron Paul however believes that in the instance of human rights, those decisions should not be made by the Supreme Court, but individually by the states (like he has stated as his reason for being against Roe v. Wade).

If you think the TSA searching people at airports is making you safe then you are gravely mistaken.
I do not have to get my testicles groped to get in a concert nor do they make the children go through it (much less a scanner).
You are comparing apple to oranges (while I did in fact cite one very good example for you).
I noticed you did touch the fact that it provided no real security.  Even the TSA admits it will only detect  less than .1% of those 'nasty terrorists'.
If you cannot admit it is a violation of the 4th Amendment perhaps you should simply read that amendment once again.
Of course, they are unwarranted. I have no record and they have NO reason to presume that I am a terrorist.

+Brooke Johnson I remember when I was your age over 30 years ago.. I thought the government was here to work things out and protect us too.
You'll get over this illusion soon enough (with or without the pointers myself and others can still freely tell you about).
